Rucha Chattur is…

Rucha Chattur is a mother of two boys, a tech manager by profession, and a multidisciplinary artist by passion. She is an engineering graduate and has done her Post-Baccalaureate in Visual Arts from UC Berkeley Extension. Her profession and passion give her the opportunity to exercise both left and right side of her brain.

Born and brought up in India, Rucha currently lives in California, USA with her husband and kids. She derives her inspirations from her culture, environment and family. A fondness for art has always motivated her to take classes and keep learning. She considers herself fortunate to have been taught by teachers in two continents.

She enjoys the vibrancy of colors on canvas and equally loves the elegance of black and white. Rucha switches between the two based on what she is trying to convey.

Rucha believes that art has the ability to take away negative energy and inspire. Thus to her making art matters …
